It's already been a week since my Great Uncle Bill's funeral... It seems like I was just there yesterday... Oh, and I found out what kind of cancer he had... It was stage 4 of Lung cancer... One of the his doctors gave the family false hope in the fall months last year... They told us (and Uncle Bill) that he would be fine... CLEARLY, he wasn't!!!!!

[link] I never realized how important of a man he really was, and to sooooo many people!!! I still have my regrets about not spending more time with him while he was alive... I'll always regret that for the rest of my life... I'm sad that he's gone, but I'm also kinda glad, knowing that he's no longer suffering... He was having a hard time breathing when I was at the hospital almost two weeks ago... Then, a few days after I visited him, one of his lungs shut down and everything started to go downhill... He was sent to a Hospice, and that was where he took his final breath, surrounded by family and friends...
